Covid-19 Updates

Covid-19 updates for our tenants and Tāmaki community

Our offices remain closed during Alert Level 3

Our Panmure and Glen Innes offices remain closed while Auckland is at Alert Level 3 but we are working remotely to help our tenants.

If you need something fixed at your Tāmaki Housing home – call freephone 0800 521 555

We will continue to do urgent repairs to your home as maintenance is considered an essential service. Urgent repairs are those that impact on your ability to live safely in the house or could impact your health (eg. not being able to cook, not having running water, a blocked toilet, or the house not being secure).

You can call our freephone 0800 521 555 any time, day or night. Please call during the day if possible, so we can manage your query or repair job easier. If your repair job is not urgent, then we may not be able to do it until after the lockdown is over.

Our maintenance team has procedures in place to keep everyone safe, so before any visit we’ll ask you a couple of questions and let you know how we will complete your repair job safely.

If you need help or have any questions about your tenancy
We are available to support you, and you can contact us:

  • Childcare for tamariki under 5 will open up
  • Everyone can enjoy outdoor activities like basketball, rowing and fishing
  • Get vaccinated to protect yourself, your whānau and your community against Covid-19. Vaccinations are free. If you are aged 12 or over, you can book here or walk in at the Tāmaki (Glen Innes) Vaccination Centre at 261 Morrin Road, St Johns, every day between 8am and 4pm

Work resumes on our building sites in Level 3

Contractors have returned to work on our building sites as part of Auckland’s move to Alert Level 3. We are working with Kāinga Ora, who manage our developments, and our build partners to put in place increased safety measures that will keep workers and the community safe from Covid-19.

Level 4 - Staying at home — what it means

We need your support to protect New Zealand and eliminate COVID-19.

  • Everyone must now stay home.
  • From 11:59pm on Tuesday 17 August you can only leave home to shop for groceries, access necessary healthcare, get a COVID-19 test, exercise in your local area, or go to work if you are working in an Alert Level 4 service and cannot work from home.
  • Only make physical contact with those in your household bubble.

Do not worry, during this time you will be able to access all the essentials you need, including medicine and food.
